Meet the Team
Wendy Albee, Owner/Interior Designer
Wendy founded Albee Interior Design in 2001, and is a multiple-award-winning designer dedicated to providing artistic design, highly personalized service, and exceptional workmanship. Her background in fine art brings a keen eye and sensitivity to the smallest detail in her interior design work, and her passion for color and design is infectious. Her education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and a Master’s Degree in Business (MBA).
Wendy’s work includes primary residences and second homes for clients throughout the greater Seattle area, as well as in Arizona, Colorado, California, New Hampshire, and Utah. Her commercial projects have included clubhouses, executive offices, lobbies, and small restaurants. A native of New York City, she resides in the Seattle area with her family.
Cathy Niese Briskorn, Interior Designer
Cathy joined the Albee Interior Design team in 2015, after receiving her Bachelor of Applied Arts (BAA) in Interior Design from Bellevue College in Bellevue, Washington. She brings her own unique sense of style and creativity to the job, with extensive knowledge of both traditional design styles and contemporary trends.
Cathy’s education also includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism from the University of Southern California. With her previous career including work in magazine publishing and corporate communications, she enjoys writing about design almost as much as she enjoys creating it.

“Thoughtful design for the way you live” is our guiding philosophy, and our primary goal is to create innovative designs that reflect our clients’ personal style, while at the same time offering practical and efficient use of space.
Albee Interior Design has been featured in consumer and trade magazines, in newspapers, and on King 5 television. Our designers have also written numerous articles and blogs, and regularly present seminars on design and remodeling at home shows and community colleges, and through speakers’ bureaus.
